About the Role

We are currently seeking a skilled Power BI Developer to join Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy at their Blade Factory in Hull. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a high-impact environment, supporting data-driven decision-making through the development of robust reporting solutions.

This is an onsite role, ideal for a candidate who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced operational setting.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop Power BI reports and dashboards using multiple data sources (SQL, dataflows, SharePoint, etc.)
Build and maintain scalable and efficient data models
Manage and maintain KPI scorecards, ensuring alignment across the business
Ensure all reporting is standardised, consistent, and aligned with data quality principles
Monitor, maintain, and continuously improve existing reports
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into clear visual insights
Support the development of reporting frameworks and best practices
Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and performance across all reporting solutions

Skills & Experience Required

Strong hands-on experience with Power BI (including DAX and data modelling)
Experience working with multiple data sources (SQL, Excel, APIs, dataflows, SharePoint)
Good understanding of ETL and data transformation processes
Ability to design clear, intuitive dashboards and visualisations
Strong attention to detail with a focus on data quality and consistency
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Desirable:

Experience managing KPI frameworks or business scorecards
