AI is moving from experimentation into real-world delivery, and that's creating a huge opportunity for organisations that can help clients adopt it safely, responsibly and at scale.
This is a rare opportunity to help shape how AI is delivered across some of the UK's most complex and highly regulated organisations.
Joining a growing consultancy with an established reputation across government and public sector transformation, you'll play a key role in defining AI-enabled solutions, advising senior stakeholders and helping delivery teams turn emerging technology into practical outcomes.
This isn't a role where you'll sit on the sidelines producing strategy decks or governance frameworks. Equally, it's not a pure engineering or machine-learning position.
Instead, you'll sit at the intersection of consulting, architecture, delivery and AI adoption, helping clients understand what's possible, designing solutions that work in the real world and guiding teams through implementation.
You'll have the opportunity to influence client engagements from discovery through to delivery, shape the organisation's AI capability and help establish approaches, standards and ways of working that will be used across future programmes.
Why This Role? You'll have the chance to:
- Shape AI strategy and solution design across a diverse portfolio of public sector and regulated clients
- Work with senior client stakeholders to solve genuine organisational and delivery challenges
- Influence how AI capability develops across a growing consultancy
- Help define best practice around agentic AI, governance, evaluation and responsible adoption
- Work alongside experienced architects, consultants and delivery leaders on complex transformation programmes
- Be part of a business actively investing in AI capability, products and services
- Designing AI-enabled solutions for complex client challenges
- Advising clients on how AI can be adopted safely and effectively within regulated environments
- Helping delivery teams make architecture, tooling and implementation decisions
- Shaping approaches to AI assurance, evaluation and governance
- Leading workshops, discovery sessions and stakeholder engagements
- Acting as a trusted advisor to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Influencing the development of internal AI capability, standards and offerings
- Supporting the growth of AI expertise across the wider organisation
You've probably started your career in architecture, engineering or technical consulting and have deliberately moved into AI over the last few years.
You enjoy working directly with clients, translating complex ideas into practical solutions and helping teams navigate uncertainty.
You'll likely bring:
- Experience designing and delivering AI-enabled solutions in production environments
- A consulting or client-facing background
- Exposure to government, public sector or regulated organisations
- Practical experience with modern AI tooling, agent frameworks and orchestration patterns
- A strong understanding of governance, risk and responsible AI delivery
- The ability to balance technology decisions with user, operational and business outcomes
- Credibility with both engineering teams and senior stakeholders
We'd be especially interested in speaking with people who have worked in:
- AI Consulting
- Technical Consulting
- Digital Transformation Consulting
