Senior Actuarial Analyst – Life Insurance
Location: Flexible / Hybrid (Various UK Locations)

We're working with a leading player in the life insurance market who is seeking to hire a Senior Actuarial Analyst to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an actuarial professional with a strong technical grounding in life insurance who is looking for broader exposure beyond traditional actuarial reporting.
The role offers significant variety across the business including financial reporting, actuarial transformation, technology-enabled change, and capital optimisation projects, providing exposure to both technical delivery and strategic initiatives across the life insurance sector.
Key Responsibilities- Support the delivery of financial reporting and actuarial reporting projects.
- Develop and enhance actuarial models, processes, and reporting capabilities.
- Contribute to transformation programmes, helping clients improve actuarial systems, controls, and operating models.
- Work on technology-enabled change initiatives, including automation and process improvement.
- Support capital optimisation and risk management projects.
- Analyse complex actuarial data and communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across actuarial, risk, finance, and technology functions.
- 2 to 5 years' actuarial experience within life insurance.
- Strong technical life insurance background, ideally within financial reporting, valuation, solvency, or a related actuarial discipline.
- Progress towards actuarial qualification
- Experience working with actuarial modelling and reporting processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
- A desire to work across a broad range of projects rather than within a narrowly defined actuarial role.
- Exposure to a diverse range of life insurance projects.
