Conveyancer​/Fee Earner - Residential Property

The Role

My client, a well-established and highly regarded regional law firm are looking to recruit an experienced Residential Conveyancer. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy, friendly team within a firm known for its strong local reputation, loyal client base and high standards of client care.

You will manage your own caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to post‑completion, ensuring transactions are progressed efficiently and professionally. The role involves liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders and other solicitors, drafting and reviewing legal documentation, conducting searches, ensuring regulatory compliance, and identifying and managing potential risks to safeguard clients’ interests. You will work in line with CQS standards and maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of conveyancing law and SRA requirements.

Experience with case management systems and Microsoft Office would be beneficial, although training will be provided where required.

The successful candidate will have comprehensive knowledge of residential conveyancing law, procedures and regulations, along with a proven track record of independently managing a varied caseload. You will be highly organised, able to manage competing priorities and deadlines effectively, and demonstrate strong attention to detail in drafting and reviewing legal documentation.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as is a proactive, solutions‑focused approach to problem‑solving. You will be confident in identifying and managing potential risks and committed to delivering a high standard of client service at all times.
