Category Manager – Hull – c £50,000 - 4-Day Working Week

Elevation Recruitment Group are proud to be supporting an established manufacturing business in Hull that is looking to recruit a Category Manager to join their growing team.

The Category Manager will take ownership of end-to-end sourcing across a wide spend portfolio, covering both direct and indirect commodities, and will work closely with senior key stakeholders to shape and drive procurement strategy across the site.

The Role

• Manage end-to-end sourcing for key commodities, covering both direct and indirect spend
• Develop and implement commodity strategies, using the seven-step sourcing methodology to guide market analysis, supplier selection and contracting
• Review the current supply base to ensure it remains fit for purpose against strategic objectives, and put Long Term Agreements in place across strategic commodity groups
