Cleaner - HMP

Hays are recruiting for a Full-Time Cleaner to work at HMP Hull.

This is a long-term temporary position, offering consistent hours and a stable working environment within a secure public sector facility.

The Role
You will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe and hygienic environment across designated areas of the prison estate.
Duties will include:

• General cleaning of offices, communal areas and welfare facilities
• Sweeping, mopping and vacuuming
• Dusting and sanitising touchpoints
• Washroom and welfare cleaning
• Waste removal and disposal
• Ensuring cleaning standards are maintained throughout the site
• Following all health and safety procedures

Working Hours - 39 hours per week
Monday to Thursday (Apply online only)

What We're Looking For

• Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience
• Reliable and punctual approach
• Ability to work independently
• Awareness of health and safety procedures
• Ability to pass prison security clearance
