International Supply Chain/Operations Manager
Location:
Hull
Salary: £50,000 (Competive Depending On Experience)
CV Technical are recruiting for an experienced Operations Manager on behalf of a rapidly growing manufacturing business with a strong international presence.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join an ambitious company at an exciting stage of growth. The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating operations across the UK and North America, ensuring the smooth movement of goods, efficient supply chain performance, and continued operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the primary operational link between UK and North American operations
Coordinate activities across production, logistics, warehousing, procurement and supply chain functions
Support business growth through effective operational planning and execution
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, logistics providers and key stakeholders
Negotiate supplier agreements, freight contracts and commercial arrangements
Manage inventory levels and support forecasting and production planning activities
Coordinate international shipments and ensure import/export compliance
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and scalability
Monitor KPIs and provide operational reporting to senior leadership
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the business
The Ideal Candidate
Proven experience in an Operations Manager, Supply Chain Manager, Logistics Manager or similar leadership role
Strong background within manufacturing, industrial or chemical environments
Experience managing international supply chains and logistics operations
Knowledge of inventory management, forecasting and production planning
Commercially aware with strong negotiation and supplier management skills
Excellent organisational and stakeholder management abilities
Comfortable working across multiple departments, locations and time zones
Continuous improvement mindset with a track record of delivering operational efficiencies
