About

The Role

We’re looking for a highly skilled and dynamic Product Lead to oversee the successful delivery of complex digital, design, data, and technology projects. You may be required to operate in project roles that are not purely Product Management, and you will need a broader skillset that includes adaptability, analysis, building connections through collaboration and conflict resolution, situational awareness, and communication.

You will need to know when to challenge and when to listen and be able to come up with and spot good ideas. You’ll be able to build relationships with clients at a senior level, helping them to champion Agile delivery and adopt the core principles of our product mindset. You’ll be comfortable acting as the glue that holds a team together, ensuring the team has a shared vision for our work while clarifying each individual’s roles and responsibilities.

You’ll also feel comfortable stepping into more of a leadership role in projects that have smaller teams or tighter budgets where roles are usually more broad.

  • Problem solving responsibility and complexity: Addressing complex project issues and risks, implementing effective mitigation strategies.
  • Change management requirements: Leading change initiatives and promoting continuous improvement within delivery teams.
  • Internal / External interactions: Regular interactions and holding strong effective relationships with senior stakeholders, clients, partners, and internal teams.
  • Strategic time frame: Planning and delivering projects and programmes aligned with long-term business objectives

  • Identify, assess, and manage risks and issues, developing effective mitigation strategies and ensuring timely resolution.
  • Plan and allocate resources effectively, ensuring projects are adequately staffed and resources are used efficiently.
  • Promote and implement agile methodologies, ensuring teams adopt best practices and continuously improve their processes.
  • Track and report on project performance, providing regular updates and insights to partners and project sponsors.
