Could you play a vital role in delivering an innovative, immersive supporter-led stewardship programme that brings the transformational impact of our work to life for donors?

In this critical role you’ll lead the stewardship function, with accountability for designing, managing, and implementing supporter and volunteer journeys. You’ll ensure products from the Supporter-Led team are understood and integrated into these journeys. Can you support fundraisers to provide a thoughtful, engaging and unique experience for all supporters, volunteers and partners in their British Red Cross journey? You’ll achieve this through creating meaningful and inspirational moments, bespoke recognition and communications.

• You’ll be responsible for the design, management, review and implementation our multi-channel stewardship journey across email, calling, on social media and direct mail.
• You’ll manage and enhance our platforms.
• You’ll be the ultimate bridge between strategy and execution - coordinating briefs for our development team. Ensuring our design, content, and creative assets are perfectly aligned to deliver unforgettable supporter journeys.
• You’ll drive continuous improvement. You’ll spearhead the testing and optimisation of stewardship journeys, ensuring clear communication and alignment with fundraising need, regularly reviewing average values against past performance and industry benchmarks.
• You’ll shape and evaluate strategic stewardship journeys to secure immediate revenue and long‑term financial growth. Leading cross‑functional project teams to hit deadlines, meet KPIs, and uncovering data‑driven insights for donor retention. Delivering compelling British Red Cross case studies while ensuring full GDPR and Fundraising Regulator compliance.
• Line management of 3 executives.
• Taking ownership of income reporting, pipeline management, and core stewardship KPIs you’ll track donor satisfaction and value metrics.
• You’ll be Emergency Appeal Lead for the team. Helping to foster collaboration and integration across the directorate and managing team plans and guidance, to ensure readiness to respond at short notice. Providing analysis and reports on activity and income generated.

• Proven track‑record of hitting financial targets and fundraising KPIs in a community fundraising environment.
• Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills. Ability to plan and manage a variety of projects, audiences (including groups and organisations) and activities to tight deadlines.
• Ability to build positive relationships with colleagues and external partners, which enable productive collaboration on projects.
• Experience delivering multi‑channel stewardship campaigns with personalisation based on customer segments.
• Experience of managing a team in a fast pace and demanding environment, helping them to overcome challenges and develop resilience while achieving targets.
• Experience inspiring, motivating and managing volunteers, fundraisers and groups to deliver income targets and objectives.
