Hours:

06:00 – 18:00 (42 hours average per week)

We are currently recruiting a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established, fast-paced manufacturing site in Hull. This is an excellent opportunity for an electrically biased engineer looking to develop within a strong electromechanical maintenance team.

The Role

As a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining plant and equipment to optimum standards, ensuring safe, efficient operation with minimal downtime in a high-volume production environment.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance on production equipment as a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer
Maintain machinery safely while minimising downtime and disruption to production
Perform in-depth visual inspections on critical components to identify wear, damage, or metal-on-metal contact
Accurately document PPM checks and log corrective actions
Fault finding and root cause analysis to improve reliability and performance
Ensure health & safety and hygiene standards are followed at all times
Use spare parts, consumables, and engineering resources efficiently
Maintain workshops and engineering areas in a clean, safe, and fit-for-purpose condition

What We’re Looking For

NVQ Level 3 in Engineering
A strong team player with the ability to work under pressure
High attention to detail and a proactive maintenance mindset
A reliable Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer who can meet deadlines and performance targets
