Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off (Days)

Hours:

06:00 - 18:00 (42 hours average per week)

We are currently recruiting a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established, fast-paced manufacturing site in Hull. This is an excellent opportunity for an electrically biased engineer looking to develop within a strong electromechanical maintenance team.

As a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining plant and equipment to optimum standards, ensuring safe, efficient operation with minimal downtime in a high-volume production environment.

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance on production equipment as a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer
• Maintain machinery safely while minimising downtime and disruption to production
• Perform in-depth visual inspections on critical components to identify wear, damage, or metal‑on‑metal contact
• Accurately document PPM checks and log corrective actions
• Fault finding and root cause analysis to improve reliability and performance
• Ensure health & safety and hygiene standards are followed at all times
• Use spare parts, consumables, and engineering resources efficiently
• Maintain workshops and engineering areas in a clean, safe, and fit‑for‑purpose condition

• NVQ Level 3 in Engineering
• A strong team player with the ability to work under pressure
• High attention to detail and a proactive maintenance mindset
• A reliable Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer who can meet deadlines and performance targets

• Salary of £45,000 - £46,000
• 4 on / 4 off day shift pattern for excellent work‑life balance
