Maintenance Engineer

Night Shift – 4 on / 4 off
Salary: £49,500

We are working with a leading manufacturing business that is continuing to grow and expand its operations. As part of this growth, they are now looking to recruit an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join their night shift team on a 4 on / 4 off shift pattern.

The Role

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of production equipment during the night shift.

Key responsibilities include:

* Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on manufacturing machinery

* Diagnosing and repairing electrical and/or mechanical faults

* Supporting continuous improvement and reliability initiatives

* Ensuring all work is completed in line with health & safety standards

* Minimising downtime and supporting production targets

The Ideal Candidate

You will be a motivated and proactive engineer with experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Ideally, you will have:

* Previous experience as a Maintenance Engineer in manufacturing or industrial settings

* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills

* Electrical and/or mechanical qualifications (or equivalent experience)

* The ability to work independently on a night shift

* A positive attitude and strong team ethic
