Hours:

Monday to Friday | Night Shift: 19:00 – 05:00

Pay: £15.26 per hour

Multi-Skilled Operative to secure full-time, ongoing work within a busy waste management facility in Hull.

The Role:

You will play a key part in safe and efficient waste handling operations, operating mobile plant machinery and ensuring high standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance are maintained at all times.

• Operate aLoading Shovel and/or 360 Grabsafely and efficiently
• Carry out waste handling and processing activities
• Load, move, and manage waste materials in line with site procedures
• Support waste sorting, segregation, and recycling operations
• Maintain high standards of site housekeeping
• Follow traffic management and site safety systems
• Complete daily plant checks and report any defects
• Accurately complete operational paperwork
• Work collaboratively with supervisors and site teams
• Comply with allHSEQstandards

Essential Requirements:

• Proven experience operating aLoading Shovel and/or 360 Grab
• Valid plant tickets / certifications (NPORS, CPCS or equivalent)
• Background inwaste, recycling, quarrying, or industrial environments
• Strong health & safety awareness
• Reliable, flexible, and committed approach

Desirable:

• Previous waste management experience
• Additional plant machinery licenses
• Basic paperwork or system input experience
