Position: Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical Engineer)

Maintenance Engineer – Either Mechanical Bias or Multi Skilled

Double Days with Occasional Night Shifts, Monday–Friday (Early Finish Friday)

Hours:

36.5 hours per week
Salary: £45,000 - £48,000 + Bonus + Funded Training (PLC Courses, HNCs, HNDs)

We are recruiting a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a global manufacturing business.

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will join a team of skilled engineers supporting a large, automated plant featuring robotics and further bespoke machinery. The department is well-established, with strong internal progression routes and ongoing investment in training and development.

The Role:

Electrical and mechanical fault finding across production lines
Working on motors, drives, conveyors, presses and automated assembly equipment
Supporting PLC fault finding (training available)
Working closely with production and quality teams to minimise downtime
Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives

What We’re Looking For:

NVQ Level 3 in Engineering

Experience with in a manufacturing environment
Strong Mechanical fault-finding skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, automated production setting
