Hygiene Operative; Nights

Position: Hygiene Operative (Nights)
Location: Kingston upon Hull

We are currently seeking dedicated and reliable Hygiene Operatives to join our client at a busy food production factory. This role is essential to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene across all production areas, ensuring compliance with food safety and health & safety regulations.

Pay: £15.05ph

Hours:

4 on 4 off 6pm-6am

Key Responsibilities:

* Perform cleaning tasks across production, packaging, and storage areas, including machinery and equipment

* Follow daily and weekly cleaning schedules

* Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and effectively

* Ensure all hygiene records and documentation are completed accurately and on time

* Report any maintenance or hygiene issues to supervisors

* Work closely with the Quality Assurance and Production teams to meet hygiene standards

* Adhere strictly to company hygiene, health & safety, and food safety policies and procedures

* Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times

Requirements:

* Previous hygiene or cleaning experience in a food production or similar environment is desirable

* Basic understanding of food safety and cleaning protocols (e.g., COSHH)

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

* Good attention to detail and a proactive attitude

* Physically fit and able to perform repetitive tasks and manual handling

* Flexible with working hours and willing to work various shifts if required
