🕒 Monday to Friday | 5:30am - 12:30pm

💷 £12.71 per hour

Are you an experienced FLT Driver looking for a varied role where no two days are the same?

We're recruiting for a Production Operative / FLT Driver to join a busy manufacturing business in the HU2 area. This is a hands-on position combining production duties with forklift truck operation, making it ideal for someone who enjoys being active and supporting different areas of a manufacturing operation.

While FLT driving forms an important part of the role, the majority of your time will be spent carrying out production duties, supporting the smooth running of the site and helping to meet daily production targets.

The Role

Working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Operating a Counterbalance FLT to move raw materials and finished products
Supplying production lines with materials and packaging
Assisting with general production duties and factory operations
Loading, unloading and storing stock safely and efficiently
Moving materials between two company sites
Following all health & safety procedures and site regulations
Maintaining a clean and organised work area

Important Requirement

A key part of this role involves travelling between two company sites using a forklift truck. This route requires crossing and driving on a public road, therefore a full UK driving licence is essential. Candidates without a valid driving licence cannot be considered for this position.

What We're Looking For

✔ Valid Counterbalance FLT Licence

✔ Full UK Driving Licence (Essential)

✔ Previous FLT operating experience

✔ Experience with in a production, manufacturing or industrial environment

✔ Ability to safely operate an FLT on a public road between company sites

✔ Strong awareness of health & safety procedures

✔ Reliable, hard-working and flexible approach to work

✔ Good attention to detail and ability to work as part of a team
