🕒 Monday to Friday | 2:00pm - 9:30pm

💷 £12.71 per hour

Are you an experienced FLT Driver looking for a role that offers a mix of forklift driving and production work?

We are recruiting for a Production Operative / FLT Driver to join a busy and established manufacturing business in the HU2 area. This is a varied position where you'll play a key role in supporting production operations while also carrying out FLT duties as required throughout the shift.

The role is predominantly production-based, with forklift truck operation forming an important part of the day-to-day workload. We're looking for someone who is flexible, reliable and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The Role

Working within a busy manufacturing and production environment
Operating a Counterbalance FLT to move raw materials and finished goods
Supplying production lines with materials and packaging
Assisting with general production and factory duties
Loading, unloading and storing stock safely and efficiently
Transporting materials between two company sites
Following all health & safety procedures and site regulations
Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment

Important Requirement

A key part of this role involves travelling between two company sites using a forklift truck. This requires crossing and driving on a public road, therefore a full UK driving licence is essential for insurance and operational requirements.

Candidates without a valid UK driving licence cannot be considered for this position.

What We're Looking For

✔ Valid Counterbalance FLT Licence

✔ Full UK Driving Licence (Essential)

✔ Previous FLT operating experience

✔ Experience with in a production, manufacturing or industrial environment

✔ Confidence operating an FLT between sites and on public roads

✔ Strong awareness of health & safety procedures

✔ Reliable, punctual and hard-working attitude

✔ Flexible approach and willingness to support production activities

✔ Good attention to detail and the ability to work as part of a team
