Manufacturing Operative - uPVC Window Glazing
Location:
East Hull
Pay: £12.71 per hour
Overtime: £16.94 per hour
Hours:
39 hours per week, Monday to Thursday
Shift: 6:00am-4:15pm
Contract:
Ongoing, with the potential to become permanent

Prestige Recruitment Specialists is recruiting reliable and hardworking Manufacturing Operatives for immediate factory-based opportunities within a busy uPVC window and door glazing department.
This is a physically demanding role involving frequent heavy lifting, including handling glass and large uPVC window and door frames. Applicants must be comfortable completing manual work throughout the shift.
Previous glazing experience is not required, as full training will be provided. However, applicants must have previous manufacturing, production or factory experience.
The Role
Fitting glass into uPVC windows and doors
Handling and moving glass, frames and finished products
Completing frequent heavy lifting throughout the shift
Using hand tools safely and effectively
Quality-checking finished windows and doors
Working efficiently to meet production targets
Following all health and safety procedures
Maintaining a clean and organised working area
What We're Looking For
Previous manufacturing, production or factory experience is essential
Physically fit and capable of frequent heavy lifting
Reliable, punctual and committed to ongoing work
Comfortable working in a busy production environment
Good attention to detail
Able to use hand tools or willing to learn
Able to commute to East Hull for a 6:00am start
What's on Offer
£12.71 per hour
Overtime paid at £16.94 per hour
39 hours of regular work each week
Four-day working week
Monday to Thursday, 6:00am-4:15pm
