Production Operative Opportunity
Our client, a well-established and respected manufacturing business in the Hull area, is seeking a reliable and motivated Production Operative to join their production team. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a company with a strong reputation for quality, innovation, and employee development.
As a Production Operative, you will play a key role in the manufacturing process, operating specialist machinery, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring products are produced efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities
Operate a range of production machinery within a manufacturing environment.
Set up and run machinery to meet production requirements.
Carry out basic machine maintenance and equipment checks.
Maintain high standards of quality control and accuracy.
Use pallet trucks and other material handling equipment safely.
Work effectively as part of a team to achieve production targets.
Adhere to all health and safety procedures and company policies.
Assist with other production-related duties as required.
What We're Looking For
Essential Skills & Experience
Previous experience in a production, manufacturing, or machine operating environment.
Experience working to deadlines and production targets.
Good literacy and numeracy skills.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Basic IT skills.
Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to perform routine machine maintenance.
Reliable, punctual, and organised approach to work.
Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
Physically capable of manual handling duties, including lifting and carrying.
Flexibility to work shifts when required.
Desirable
Experience operating production or conversion machinery.
Experience with in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Forklift or pallet truck experience.
Experience working with quality-focused products.
