Manufacturing Engineer

Manufacturing Engineer South Molton Up to £55,000  Excellent Benefits A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Manufacturing Engineer to join a world-class aerospace manufacturing business at its Devon-based facility. Working within a highly innovative aerospace environment, you will be responsible for developing, improving, and supporting manufacturing processes to ensure the highest standards of safety, quality, delivery, and productivity are achieved.

Role & Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and optimise manufacturing processes and procedures. Drive Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives. Support production teams with technical expertise and process improvements. Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective actions. Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, work instructions, and process controls. Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and process validation activities. Work closely with Operations, Quality, and Maintenance teams to improve operational performance.

Identify opportunities to reduce waste, improve efficiency, and enhance product quality. Ensure compliance with aerospace and regulatory standards. Knowledge,

Skills & Experience:

Degree qualified in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.

Experience with in a manufacturing, aerospace, engineering, or production environment. Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement tools.

Experience with root cause analysis methodologies such as 8D or A3. Familiarity with Value Stream Mapping, Standard Work, Visual Management, and 6S. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Package & Benefits:
