Production Operative - IMMEDIATE START - Chesterfield S43 3LS
We are looking for reliable and hardworking Production Operatives for S43 3LS
Chesterfield to join a busy manufacturing and print production industry.
You will be working as part of the production team in a manufacturing environment, helping to ensure products are produced, finished and prepared to the required quality standards while keeping production running efficiently.
Key Responsibilities for Production Operative
- Operating and assisting with production and printing machinery
- Feeding materials into machines and monitoring the production process
- Carrying out basic machine setup and adjustments where required
- Checking finished products for quality and identifying any defects
- Packing, labelling. assembling and preparing finished products for dispatch
- Moving materials and finished goods around the production area
- Completing basic production paperwork and recording quantities
- Keeping your workstation clean, organised and safe
- Following all health & safety and company procedures
- Working closely with other members of the production team to achieve daily targets
- Reporting any machine faults, quality issues or production problems to the supervisor
What We're Looking For in a Production operative
Previous production, manufacturing, printing or machine operating experience would be beneficial, although training can be provided.
You should be:
- Reliable commute in Chesterfield with good attendance and timekeeping
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced production manufacturing environment
- Able to follow instructions and work to production targets
- Quality focused with good attention to detail
- Happy working both independently and as part of a team in a manufacturing environment
- Comfortable with a role that involves being on your feet and handling materials throughout the shift
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working in a busy manufacturing production environment and takes pride in producing work to a high standard.
