Are you an experienced CNC Programmer looking for a stable, days-based role with flexibility and the opportunity to make a real impact?
Our client is a highly respected subcontract precision engineering company with over 45 years of industry success. Thanks to continued growth and a strong order book, they are looking to add an experienced CNC Miller Programmer to their skilled manufacturing team.
The RoleYou’ll be responsible for creating and optimising CNC programs for 3 & 4-axis Hurco machining centres using OneCNC CAD/CAM software, ensuring efficient production, exceptional quality, and reduced cycle times.
Key ResponsibilitiesCreate and optimise CNC programs using OneCNC for 3 & 4-axis Hurco CNC machines.
Interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and technical specifications to produce accurate machining programs.
Develop efficient tooling and machining strategies for a range of materials.
Work closely with machinists to improve program performance, maximise productivity, and reduce cycle times.
Troubleshoot and refine existing programs to improve quality and minimise waste.
Ensure all machining processes meet quality, safety, and engineering standards.
Proven experience as a CNC CAD/CAM Programmer.
Experience with OneCNC is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of CNC milling and machining processes.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
A proactive approach and the ability to work both independently and within a close-knit team.
