Warehouse Operative

Location: Kingston upon Hull

We are looking to recruit a reliable and hardworking Runner / Warehouse Operative to join a busy manufacturing operation. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys being active, working as part of a team, and wants to develop a long-term career within manufacturing and logistics.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting production by ensuring finished goods are correctly wrapped, banded, labelled and prepared for dispatch while maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.

This position offers genuine long-term career development. Successful candidates will initially be trained within the Runner role, learning all aspects of the warehouse and production operation. Once fully competent in the position, there will be an opportunity to gain both Reach Truck and Counterbalance Forklift Truck licences, with a corresponding increase in hourly pay once actively operating FLTs.

As part of the planned growth and development of the department, employees who successfully complete their training and obtain their forklift licences will transition onto a three-shift rotating pattern, expected to be introduced after approximately two months. This will include:

6:00am - 2:15pm
2:00pm - 10:15pm
10:00pm - 6:15am (Sunday to Thursday nights)
This additional shift will provide employees with further responsibility, greater flexibility across the operation, and the opportunity to maximise their earnings as a trained FLT Operator.
