The Role As a Community Nurse, you'll manage your own caseload while delivering safe, effective, and compassionate care within the community. Your responsibilities will include:
Delivering IV therapies, injections, and specialist treatments in patients' homes Managing a caseload of approximately 45 patients per day Providing education and ongoing support to patients and their families Working closely with NHS partners and multidisciplinary teams Monitoring patient progress and escalating concerns appropriately Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and high professional standards Working independently while benefiting from strong clinical support and leadership What We're Looking For Registered General Nurse (RGN) with a valid NMC PIN Full UK driving licence Post-registration experience within an acute hospital setting
Experience with IV therapies, IV devices, and subcutaneous injections Strong organisational and communication skills The confidence to work autonomously and build rapport with patients in their homes Community nursing experience is desirable but not essential, and full support will be provided for nurses moving from hospital environments.
