Clinical Nurse Specialist

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Band 7 Senior Nurse to join our CAMHS Eating Disorder Service in Hampshire. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a developing service, where innovation, quality and compassionate care are at the heart of everything we do. We deliver a range of evidence-based interventions and are committed to achieving the best outcomes for young people and their families.

Staff benefit from opportunities for professional development, including CPD, specialist training, supervision, consultation and multidisciplinary team working., As one of the senior nurses within the service, you will work in collaboration with other members of the multi-disciplinary team to deliver safe, effective, and care for the West hub and wider service. The post holder will be required to manage their own case load alongside offering expert clinical advice to colleagues and line management support to nursing colleagues within the west hub.

The role requires a high level of skill in clinical assessment, risk management, safeguarding and liaison with other agencies. The post holder will be required to take on other identified responsibilities suitable for the banding. Experience in systemic working, crisis interventions and physical assessment will be an advantage.

• Registered Nurse with current registration (mental health / LD/ Adult /Paediatric) appropriate to the job role.
• Degree/diploma level supplemented by specialist qualification, training, experience, courses to masters level equivalent relevant to the care group
• Evidence of post registration training in relevant service area
• Completion of Mentorship Course/ENB equivalent
