- Registered Nurse
- Must have up to date NMC registration
- Management course
- Evidence of research/ audit undertaken
- Diploma/ degree
- ALS/ ATNC
- Relevant teaching/ assessing course
- Significant experience in Emergency care at band 5 level
- Evidence of professional development
- Evidence of changes in practice undertaken
- Shows desire and capability to develop in nursing care standards
- Show knowledge in health and safety issues
- Essence of care / nursing strategy and follows evidence based practice
- Good communication - verbal/written
- Be able to work on own initiative
- Works well with in a team
- Demonstrates understanding of confidentiality
- Participate in standard setting and research projects
- Evidence showing clinical and professional development
- To be able to plan, assess, evaluate and implement patient care
- Ability to prioritise care associated with changing environment/patient demands
- Facilitate learning of others.
