Apprentice Landscaper

Turnbull J R Ltd is a family-run landscaping and garden design company based in Cottingham, East Riding of Yorkshire. Established over 50 years ago, the company is one of the leading landscapers in the area, with a long-standing and experienced workforce. They specialise in bespoke garden design, hard and soft landscaping, driveways, patios and garden maintenance for both residential and commercial clients, and are well known locally for quality workmanship and reliable service.

It is anticipated that the apprentice will progress into a skilled and confident landscaper, capable of working independently and to a high standard. With experience and continued development, there will be opportunities to take on additional responsibility and potentially lead a small team of two to three staff members.

The apprentice will work alongside experienced landscapers to support all aspects of landscaping projects. Duties will include ground preparation, planting, turfing, paving, fencing, decking and general garden maintenance. Training will be provided in all areas of landscaping to develop the skills and knowledge required to carry out these tasks independently and to a high standard.

Training will take place four days per week in the workplace and one day per week in the classroom as part of the apprentice's off-the-job training.

Monday - Friday, 7.30am - 4.00pm.
