We are currently recruiting for aFood Service Assistant to join our team based at Northern Regional College, Magherafelt. This isa great opportunity to join a world leading facilities management company.

Working Pattern:

• 27.5hours per week
• Monday to Friday
• 09:00am - 14:30pm
• Tearm Time Role

The Role:

• Assistin the preparation, service and sales of all food and beverages for the unit
• Provide the highest level of customer service in a consistent approach to anyone who uses the facility
• Work as part of the team to ensure service is delivered on time andato a consistently high standard
• Carry out all cleaning duties as per instruction from line manager or per unit cleaning rota
• Ensure kitchen and service areas are always clean and tidy
• Clear rooms of any trays, flasks.
• Be responsible forcash handling duties under your control
• Keep up to date with current promotions and new products
• Comply withall Health, Safety & Hygiene standards
• Comply withall HACCP regulations as necessary
• Follow procedures as directed on the correct handling and use of all cleaning materials.
• Complete any administration as requested which may include recording of food temperatures, updating cleaning schedules, cashing uptillsand recording daily sales figures on the system.
• Assist with effective management of stock control

The Person:

• Demonstrable passion for providing good customer service
• Excellent communication skills
• Flexibility and adaptability
• Good navigation and time management
• Workable knowledge of HACCP regulations
• Basic food hygiene certificate
• Basic statutory training for the role will require all candidates to have basic reading, writing,speaking and listening skills toassistin understanding safety and work, instructions and communicating with customer on a day-today basis.
