Our client is seeking an experienced and reliable Chef/Cook to join their catering team on a weekend-only basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys preparing fresh food, working in a structured kitchen environment, and maintaining high standards of food quality and hygiene.
The RoleAs Chef/Cook, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operation of the kitchen and ensuring meals are prepared and served efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Preparing and cooking meals to a high standard
- Assisting with menu preparation and food presentation
- Maintaining food hygiene and safety standards
- Ensuring kitchen cleanliness and organisation
- Monitoring stock levels and supporting stock rotation
- Working efficiently during busy service periods
- Following all company health and safety procedures
- Previous experience as a Chef, Cook, or in a similar catering role
- Good knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen safety practices
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual, and organised approach
- Passion for delivering quality food and service
- Weekend-only working pattern
