Tesco Colleague pay starts at £13.28 per hour, rising to £14.55 in stores within the M25. Some locations may offer additional payments. We guarantee a minimum of 16 hours per week, though roles from 12 hours are also available.
Your contracted hours will be scheduled within the availability windows shown, with at least 3 weeks’ notice of your shifts. If your availability is close to what we’re looking for, we still encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities- Provide friendly, natural service and get to know your customers.
- Be confident with our products and services and offer help when needed.
- Provide flexible support across the store, including shelf replenishment, checkout service, online order picking, occasional delivery assistance, and general service and replenishment duties.
- Make customer‑focused decisions and complete key store routines.
- Understand how your role supports great service, strong sales, waste reduction and overall store performance.
- Deliver a great service by greeting customers with a smile and serving them with pride.
- Build rapport so customers leave having had a great experience.
- Use your initiative to make the right decisions for customers.
- Work well in a team, communicate openly, have fun, and celebrate success.
