1. You’d be selling a recognised market leader.
Zycus was named a Leader in the 2026 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Source-to-Pay Suites. It also holds Leader positions in the Forrester Wave and IDC Market Scape, and Gartner Peer Insights Customers’ Choice. For an AE, analyst backing like this means credibility in the first meeting and easier shortlisting in RFPs.
2. The product leads the agentic AI conversation.
Zycus’s Merlin AI agents are built to source, negotiate and process invoices on their own, rather than just making suggestions. Gartner specifically highlighted its investments in intake technology and autonomous negotiation for tail spend. CPOs and CFOs are actively budgeting for AI, so a candidate gets a timely, relevant story to bring to the C-suite.
3. One complete platform, so there’s more to sell.
Zycus brings sourcing, procurement, contracts and AP together on one low-code platform, and the suite is built organically rather than stitched together through acquisitions. That gives an AE larger deal sizes, multi-module opportunities and a stronger story against competitors built on acquired point tools.
4. Brand pull helps generate pipeline.
According to Gartner, its clients name the Merlin AI brand as a reason they engage with Zycus. Strong inbound interest and marketing support mean the AE isn’t building the territory entirely from cold outreach.
5. A real chance to make an impact in the region.
The North of England has a dense base of manufacturing, utilities, retail, logistics and financial services enterprises that are still modernising procurement. An AE joining now can build the territory, win reference logos and grow visibly into Strategic AE or leadership roles, which is harder to do at a larger, more crowded vendor.
