Job Description:
We are seeking passionate and dedicated Social Workers to join our diverse and dynamic teams. As a Children’s Social Worker/Senior Social Worker/Advanced Social Worker, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and families in Hull. You will be responsible for providing assessment, intervention, and support services to children and families in need, working collaboratively with other professionals and agencies to achieve positive outcomes.
- Your pay will increase annually within the pay band, aligned with the national agreed framework for local government workers, ensuring a reliable and competitive salary for security and stability.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting assessments of children and families to determine their needs and risks.
- Developing and implementing care plans that promote the safety and wellbeing of children.
- Providing direct support and intervention to children and families, including crisis intervention and safeguarding measures.
- Collaborating with colleagues, partner agencies, and stakeholders to coordinate services and support networks for children and families.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of assessments, interventions, and case progress.
- Participating in team meetings, case conferences, and training opportunities to enhance professional development and best practice.
Requirements:
- Degree in Social Work or equivalent qualification recognised by Social Work England.
- Registration with Social Work England as a Social Worker.
- Previous experience working within a children’s social care setting, with knowledge of relevant legislation and policies.
- Strong assessment and decision-making skills, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children, families, and professionals from diverse backgrounds.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
