Summary:
Hamilton Woods Associates is working on behalf of a not-for-profit organisation, recruiting an Independent Domestic Violence Advocate to work with individuals and families affected by domestic violence. This community‑based position requires travel across Kirklees.
- Build strong relationships with individuals and families affected by domestic violence
- Advocate for survivors
- Review support plans
- Signpost clients to other services
- Manage high‑risk cases
- Ensure compliance with safeguarding, confidentiality and data protection
- Provide support around housing, criminal justice, health and finances
- Work in partnership and collaborate with partners and stakeholders
- Actively engage clients and promote involvement in the service
- UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
- Enhanced DBS
- Experience working with those fleeing domestic abuse
