Location: Hornsea
The individual is a 19-year-old female who resides in Hornsea. They require a dedicated and suitable person to support with taking her out once a fortnight. This lady is autistic and has ADHD.
They like/enjoy walking in the countryside, ice skating & cinema trips.
About the roleThe successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Taking her out into the community and supporting with activities of her choosing.
7 hours per fortnight.
About the candidateThe suitable candidate must:
- Be motivated, proactive and able to work on their own initiative.
- Be patient, caring and understanding.
- Have good communication skills (clear and effective communication).
- Be able to build a positive relationship with the individual to both encourage and support them.
- Have use of own car, to transport individual to social activities. Business insurance is required.
- Have knowledge and understanding of Autism and ADHD.
DBS/Reference checks will be required for this post – Cost to be met by the local authority.
