What you will do
  • Caseload Management: Manage a varied caseload involving children and families requiring safeguarding intervention.
  • Assessment: Undertake statutory assessments including Child and Family Assessments and risk evaluations.
  • Care Planning: Develop, implement, and review child protection and care plans.
  • Safeguarding: Investigate concerns around abuse, neglect, exploitation, and domestic issues.
  • Multi-Agency Working: Work with schools, health services, police, and partner agencies to safeguard children.
  • Monitoring Progress: Review outcomes and contribute to long-term planning including permanence.
  • Professional Practice: Participate in supervision and ongoing CPD to maintain best practice.
  • Inclusive Working: Promote equality, diversity, and anti-discriminatory practice in all areas of work.
