As an Employment Specialist IPS
- Hull , you will be responsible for delivering tailored employment support to clients, primarily focusing on those involved with drug and alcohol agencies in East Yorkshire and East Riding. The role involves building relationships with clients, developing individualised employment plans, and working closely with local employers to facilitate job placements. This is a contract position for 2 weeks, ideal for professionals looking to contribute their expertise in a rewarding setting.
Responsibilities for the Employment Specialist IPS

- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients’ employment needs and goals
- Develop and implement individual employment plans aligned with clients' skills and aspirations
- Support clients through each stage of the job search, including CV writing, interview preparation, and applications
- Liaise with local businesses and community networks to identify employment opportunities
- Provide ongoing motivation and encouragement to sustain clients’ engagement in employment activities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records in line with compliance standards
- Collaborate with partner agencies, including drug and alcohol services, to ensure holistic support
