ServiceNow Engineer

Coba IT are hiring on behalf of a client for a Service Now Engineer to help design, build, and optimise high-impact solutions on a critical enterprise platform.

This is a great opportunity for someone who combines deep platform expertise with a strong engineering mindset—someone who can shape solutions, influence direction, and raise the bar on delivery.

As a Service Now Engineer, you’ll be responsible for designing and delivering scalable solutions that support large-scale digital transformation.

You’ll collaborate with engineering teams, product stakeholders, and leadership to ensure the platform is robust, secure, and aligned with evolving business needs—while also supporting and mentoring others.

• Design, develop, and deliver high-quality Service Now solutions
• Ensure code is scalable, maintainable, and optimised for performance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and solutions
• Participate in code reviews and promote best practice across the team
• Embed secure coding standards and ensure platform integrity
• Contribute to continuous improvement and innovation across the platform
• Mentor and support junior developers, helping elevate team capability

• Strong expertise in Service Now platform architecture and development
• Deep understanding of Service Now capabilities and best practices
• Experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale solutions
• Ability to guide and mentor other engineers
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Experience working within complex, regulated environments
• Exposure to AI capabilities within Service Now (e.g. agent design)
• Experience integrating Service Now with other enterprise systems
• Hands‑on experience with Service Now UI Builder
• Broader understanding of digital transformation and platform strategy
