Mid Level## About the Role About Colate Colate is building a next-generation Mobile Device Management (MDM) platform that helps organizations securely manage, monitor, and protect fleets of mobile devices  combine enterprise-grade security with modern cloud-native architecture.

Role Overview We are looking for a passionate and experienced
** Server Engineer
** to design, build, and scale the core backend infrastructure of our MDM platform. You will own the server-side logic that powers device enrollment, policy enforcement, real-time monitoring, and secure data exchange across thousands of devices.## Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
* Design and develop highly scalable, secure RESTful & gRPC APIs for MDM functionalities.
* Build and maintain real-time communication systems (Web Socket, MQTT, or similar) for device telemetry and command execution.
* Implement robust authentication, authorization, and end-to-end encryption mechanisms.
* Design database schemas and optimize queries for high-volume device data (PostgreSQL / MongoDB / Cassandra).
* Integrate with Apple DEP, Android Zero-Touch, and third-party identity providers.
* Ensure high availability, observability, and auto-scaling of backend services.
* Write clean, testable, and well-documented code.## Requirements
* 4+ years of strong backend development experience.
* Proficiency in
** Go / Node.js / Java / Python** (Go preferred).
* Deep experience with cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure).
* Strong knowledge of microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD.
* Solid understanding of security best practices, data encryption, and compliance (GDPR, SOC2, ISO 27001).
* Experience with MDM, EMM, or enterprise mobility solutions is a strong plus.
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.## Benefits
