• Training and career progression opportunities Day-to-Day Duties As an Operations & Warehouse Administrator , your duties will include (but are not limited to):
• Answering incoming telephone calls and dealing with customer, supplier and driver enquiries in a professional and friendly manner
• Providing excellent customer service, resolving queries and escalating issues where necessary
• Inputting and maintaining accurate information using Microsoft Excel spreadsheets
• Using traffic planning and transport management systems to support daily operations
• Providing administrative support to both the operations and warehouse teams
• Processing and updating delivery, collection and warehouse documentation
• Liaising with customers, drivers and warehouse staff to ensure the smooth running of daily operations
• Maintaining accurate records and ensuring all paperwork is completed efficiently
• Carrying out general office administration and providing support to the wider team as required
• Providing cover within the warehouse when required, including carrying out checks on tools, equipment and vehicle audits to ensure company standards and compliance are maintained
• Working within the warehouse environment as part of operational cover when required Essential Skills As an Operations & Warehouse Administrator , you will need:
• Previous experience within an administration, operations, warehouse administration or customer service role is preferred
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and the wider Microsoft Office package
• Experience using transport management or traffic planning systems would be advantageous, although full training will be provided
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong organisational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to prioritise workload and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Proactive and flexible approach with a willingness to support both the office and warehouse teams as required
Desirable Experience
• Previous experience within a logistics, warehouse or transport environment would be advantageous Training Provided
