Salary: £32,000 - £34,000 per annum
Shift Pattern:
Rotating shifts, Monday to Friday (6:00am - 2:00pm / 2:00pm - 10:00pm)
The Opportunity
We are recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Team Leader to join a leading and well-established distribution operation in Hull. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated warehouse professional looking to take the next step in their leadership career within a fast-paced and customer-focused environment.
As Warehouse Team Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring productivity, quality, and safety targets are consistently achieved while leading and developing a team of warehouse operatives.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, motivate and support a team of warehouse operatives across all warehouse activities.
Plan and allocate workloads to ensure operational and customer service targets are met.
Monitor team performance and provide coaching, guidance and training where required.
Ensure all orders are picked, packed and dispatched accurately and on time.
Maintain high standards of health, safety and housekeeping throughout the warehouse.
Conduct team briefings, return-to-work meetings and performance discussions as required.
Monitor stock accuracy and support inventory control activities.
Investigate and resolve operational issues to minimise disruption.
Work closely with other departments to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure all company policies, procedures and compliance requirements are adhered to.
About You
Previous experience in a Warehouse Team Leader, Warehouse Supervisor or similar leadership role.
Strong understanding of warehouse operations and distribution processes.
Experience managing and developing teams within a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of warehouse KPIs and performance management.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Ability to prioritise workloads and make decisions under pressure.
Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
Forklift licence would be advantageous but is not essential.

Competitive salary of £32,000 - £34,000 per annum.
Permanent, full-time position.
