We are currently recruiting Despatch Operatives - focussing on loading/unloading, order picking, and line work, taking direction from the Despatch Charge hands - at our Preston site, our primary Pork facility within the Hull and East Riding region. With significant ongoing investment and expansion, this presents an opportunity to be part of a fast-paced, forward-thinking site with plenty of scope to contribute and develop.
Main Duties Include (but not limited to):
- Loading/unloading
- Picking orders on our in house systems
- Ensuring all Despatch requirements set by the Charge hands and Supervisors are met in a timely manor
- Ensuring products are stored correctly while maintaining traceability at all times
- Maintaining food safety standards at all times
- Reporting any issues or shortfalls when required
- Demonstrate a good attention to detail with orders

- Previous experience in despatch / warehousing / food industry
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments to daily targets
- A motivated and friendly attitude towards teamwork and assisting colleagues
- Suitable transport to get to site - HU12 8TB
