• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles, test components and systems, and use diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnose and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and AC conditioning.
• Communicate directly with Service Advisors to ensure customers are fully informed of all service needed and provide estimates of time for additional repairs.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.

• 3+ years of Transmission Technician Experience
• Ford/Lincoln Certification required
• B level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical and Engine Repair
• Dexterity and steady hand-eye coordination
• Mechanical and troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
• Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies
• Positive, friendly attitude with eagerness to improve
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment and collaborate effectively with teammates
• Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications
• Knowledge of safety procedures and practices necessary while operating or repairing vehicles and equipment

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• ASE certifications required

• Ability to stand, sit, walk, stoop, squat, crouch, kneel, push, and pull
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and assist in lifting up to 100 pounds
• Must be able to pass pre-employment testing, including background checks and drug test
