The Switchboard Designer will be responsible for designing and drafting custom layouts for switchboards and electrical panels, ensuring compliance with specifications, codes, and safety standards. Day-to-day tasks include interpreting technical documentation, collaborating with engineering teams, selecting appropriate components, and preparing detailed designs using relevant software such as AutoCAD or similar tools. This is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Humble, TX, requiring close collaboration with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
Qualifications- Experience in electrical design, including proficiency with AutoCAD or similar design software
- Knowledge of industrial power systems, electrical codes, and switchboard design standards
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to interpret and implement technical specifications
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes and materials used in modular construction
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with engineering and production teams
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Prior experience in modular or industrial building design is highly preferred but not mandatory
