Addison Group is partnering with a well‑established, multi‑location specialty medical organization seeking an experienced Physician Billing Specialist. This team supports a high‑volume provider network and is looking for someone who can step in confidently, manage complex billing scenarios, and contribute to process improvements.

The Physician Billing Specialist will focus on claim accuracy, rejection resolution, and workflow optimization within a fast‑paced physician billing environment. This role is ideal for someone with strong professional billing experience who can analyze trends, support claim edits, and collaborate closely with clinical and administrative teams to ensure clean claims and timely reimbursement.

• Review and resolve claim rejections and billing errors for physician services.
• Verify claim accuracy, including CPT, ICD-10, and modifier usage.
• Manually enter charges when required using spreadsheets or external source data.
• Identify denial and rejection trends and assist in building claim edits and billing rules within the system.
• Collaborate with front office, coding, and clinical staff to ensure proper documentation and clean claims.
• Assist with patient account inquiries and balance resolution as needed.
• Support billing operations across a high‑volume, multi‑location provider group.

• 2–3 years of physician billing experience required.
• Experience working in specialty physician practices.
• Proficiency with eClinical
  
  Works (eCW) required.
• Strong understanding of professional billing workflows and claim lifecycle.
• Ability to analyze claim trends and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, high‑volume billing environment.

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm
• Assignment Type: Contract‑to‑Hire
• Work Environment: Onsite
• Training: Hands‑on training focused on internal workflows and system processes
