Repair Technician

Job Summary

Works with customers to identify failures in our products and recommends the correct solution to ensure customer satisfaction.

• Responsible for disassembling, testing and reassembling incoming valves and pumps.
• Thoroughly inspects and cleans incoming parts.
• Builds and converts valve packages.
• Reviews, stocks and restocks warehouse overflow and default locations – adjusting inventory as needed.
• Receives manufactured and purchased parts into inventory – adjusting inventory as needed.
• Documents all required customer maintenance records.
• May perform general facility maintenance, truck/equipment maintenance, and shipping/receiving duties.
• Complies with all safety policies, practices, and procedures; reports all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or a Health Safety and Environmental team member.
• Participates in proactive teams to achieve departmental and company goals.
• Seeks opportunities to add knowledge through the Kimray L&D group, peer group, and direct supervisors.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• 1–3 years’ experience.
• Working knowledge and understanding of operational function of valves.
• Kimray product rebuilding and reconditioning training.
• Ability to operate computers, hand trucks, and forklifts.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Must have analytical, problem‑solving and critical thinking skills.
• Must be mechanically inclined.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean MVR.
• Must pass background check and drug screen.
• Complete assigned Level 1 Training.
