This is a DAY SHIFT position. Typical schedules are 6:30 am - 5:00 pm; however, schedules are subject to change, depending on business needs. Work location within the Greater Houston area will vary based on production needs.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES- Perform standard office duties, plant duties, and operate mobile equipment.
- Establish and maintain effective communications within all areas of the operation.
- Assist Production Supervisor with scheduling and organizing employees to accomplish production operations.
- Plan and conduct daily safety/operational meetings with employees under your supervision.
- Assist with annual performance evaluations of team members.
- Make regular inspections for safety, housekeeping, and mechanical issues in all areas of the operation.
- Maintain housekeeping and appearance standards as established.
- Assist with equipment repairs and housekeeping as needed.
- Implement and apply all safety rules, policies, regulations, and procedures of property as set forth by federal, state, and local agencies.
- Work closely with managementu
00A0to ensure the implementation of scheduled maintenance on all equipment. - Participate in the plant safety committee.
- Encourage employees to participate in Guardian Angel activities.

- 4 years+ experience preferably in aggregates industry.
- 1 year of supervisory or leadership experience, preferred.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Must maintain a valid driver's license.
- Effective coordination and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Bilingual (English and Spanish), preferred.
- Understand team-based management.
- Self-starter with the ability to work with little or no supervision.
