- Acute Care Certified
- Conduct comprehensive cardiovascular assessments and physical exams
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with acute and chronic cardiac conditions (e.g., CHF, hypertension, arrhythmias, CAD)
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests including EKGs, echocardiograms, stress tests, and lab work
- Collaborate with physicians to develop and implement care plans
- Educate patients and families on cardiac conditions, medications, lifestyle changes, and procedures
- Provide post-procedure and ongoing outpatient follow-up care
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records in the EMR system
- Participate in quality improvement and clinical care initiatives
