RN WITH STRONG IV SKILLS NEEDED FOR IN-HOME INFUSIONS AND SKILLED NURSING VISITS
Bright Star Care of Kingwood/Humble is seeking a Part-Time/PRN Registered Nurse to care for our patients and facilitate their speedy recovery in the comfort of their own home.
Seeking nurses that work positively and favorably with pediatric patients and their families. The ideal candidate will have experience with infusions, wound care, lab draws and assessments.

Provide thoughtful care to client & patients based on personalized Plan of Care. Monitor and track changes in the client/patient's conditions and needs, and keeps the Director of Nursing and any other appropriate personnel informed. Proactively updates client/patients' family on plan of care, health changes, and concerns. In addition, IV infusion nurses should have experience with care, maintenance, and infusions via PICC, CVL, ML, peripheral IVs and Port-a-Caths.
Strong skills with peripheral IV sticks preferred.
- Current unrestricted Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current CPR/BLS Certification (in-person only)
- Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray within past year
- Minimum one (1) year of documented experience required in a home health agency, primary care clinic or health facility, preferred.
- Current and valid Texas Driver's License
- Current and valid automobile insurance
- Must be able to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
