The Sales Support & Lead Conversion Specialist plays a critical role in driving company growth by managing inbound customer interactions, generating outbound leads, and supporting the sales process from first contact through conversion. In this fast‑paced, detail‑oriented role, you will handle inbound calls, follow up on estimates, qualify prospects, update customer records, and ensure workflow through accurate documentation and adherence to established systems.
EssentialDuties And Responsibilities Outbound Lead Generation & Sales Support
- Place outbound calls to prospects and inactive customers.
- Assist with converting quotations to sales orders.
- Use approved scripts to generate interest and communicate key value propositions.
- Qualify prospects and funnel high‑potential leads to designated sales representatives.
- Perform cold calls using scripts and document efforts in Salesforce.
- Employ sales techniques to influence and recommend products/services.
- Follow up on open quotes to convert them into orders.
- Check parts availability and utilize internal databases to assist with sales order completion.
- Report lost sale and submit findings via the ERP system.
- Schedule follow‑ups and update information in Salesforce.
- Track warranty return status with outbound calls and update ERP records.
- Update vendor tracking for all open purchase orders and document in the ERP system.
- Send direct ship invoices to Accounts Payable for processing.
- Follow all company systems, scripts, and procedures.
- Report any system issues or barriers to management immediately.
- Participate in ongoing sales, engine, and product training.
- Support special marketing and sales projects as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic customer service principles and typing/grammar proficiency.
- Experience with Salesforce and basic computer functions.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
- Successful completion of pre‑employment background and drug screening.
- Ability to maintain a positive, professional, and team‑oriented attitude.
