M&D has been a leader in after‑market remanufacturing for over 80 years. We partner with OEMs such as Bosch, Garrett, Cummins, and many others to develop and supply high‑quality engine components, including fuel injectors, fuel pumps, cylinder heads, blocks, crankshafts, and connecting rods. In addition, we offer a complete range of turbochargers, in‑frame overhaul kits, filtration, and after‑treatment parts such as DPFs, DOCs, and EGRs.
Position Summary
The Territory Manager is responsible for acquiring new business, maintaining and growing existing accounts, and recovering lost opportunities within assigned territories.
- Become the subject‑matter expert on the company’s products and services.
- Understand all stages of the sales cycle.
- Develop and maintain growth strategies for the assigned territory.
- Create and manage a “dream” list of new customers with a strategic plan to win business.
- Analyze the competitive landscape and identify M&D’s unique advantages.
- Participate in trade shows, customer events, sales blitzes, and community enrichment opportunities.
- Fully adopt and utilize Salesforce to manage all sales activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of business‑to‑business sales experience in the automotive/transportation industry.
- Understanding of diesel engine components is preferred.
- Ability to exercise good judgment and work independently.
- Consistent, accurate, and reliable performance.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Successful completion of pre‑employment background and drug screening.
- Valid driver’s license and a driving record meeting company standards.
- Bilingual experience is a plus.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Office environment with prolonged periods of computer use.
- Prolonged periods of driving.
- Occasional shop environment exposure to loud noises, dust, and dirt.
